Experimental Demonstration of Adaptive 3-D Optimization for Optical Direct-detection OFDM

Abstract

We propose an adaptive 3-D optimization including bit loading, power loading and TCM for optical direct-detection OFDM in the fading channel. This method is experimentally demonstrated to improve both the receiver sensitivity and capacity.
