Resonant Light Emission from Highly N-doped Germanium-on-Insulator Microdisks with Circular Bragg Grating

Abstract

Resonant light emission with high Q-factor and fringe contrast, corresponding to Fabry-Perot modes, have been observed over 250 nm wavelength range from highly n-doped Ge-on-Insulator microdisks by combining with highly reflective circular Bragg grating.
