Novel spectroscopic transparent/scattering material for 260/280nm ultraviolet optical detection

Abstract

Novel type of wavelength filter was proposed and demonstrated. Polydimethylsiloxane was mixed with CaF2 particles. This scattering material of 30wt% provided transparency at specified wavelength of 259 nm and 278nm.
