Phase Measurement of a QCL comb in the Mid-IR

Abstract

QCL combs arise through cascaded four-wave mixing[1], with simulations suggesting a strongly frequency modulated field[3,4]. Experimentally, we show that QCL combs can possess a linear chirp, and demonstrate that the comb states are reproducible.
