6 GHz Repetition Rate Photocathode Laser for Multi-Bunch Operation of a Relativistic Electron Gun

Abstract

We report on a new photocathode laser with 6 GHz repetition rate, utilizing an electro-optic modulator comb. The laser is amplified by a Yb:fiber amplifier to 10 W and will be converted to DUV for photoelectron generation.
