Microwave-to-Optical Converter based on Integrated Lithium Niobite Coupled-Resonators

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate an efficient classical microwave-to-optical converter using coupled optical microresonators on lithium niobite with Q = 2.7×106. We measure full-depth optical modulation with a 7 GHz microwave driving voltage Vrms = 70 mV.
