Microring Weight Banks for Neuromorphic Silicon Photonics

Abstract

Research in photonic information processing has experienced a recent resurgence. Microring weight banks enable reconfigurable neural network approaches on silicon photonics. We discuss the latest results in neuromorphic silicon photonic networks and microring weight banks.
