Deep Learning Reconstruction of Ultrashort Pulses

Abstract

We propose and demonstrate, numerically and experimentally, the first deep neural network technique to reconstruct the amplitude and phase of ultrashort optical pulses. We anticipate that this approach will enable diagnostics of very weak pulses.
