Abstract

We reveal a pump-polarization-dependent spectroscopic signature of interlayer coupling in a black phosphorus-graphite heterostructure by probing its ultrafast photo-response. The angle-resolved transients provide new insights into the interfacial carrier dynamics in this emerging hybrid system.
