Graphene-based Metamaterial Tunable Phase Modulator for Mid-Infrared Wave Steering

Abstract

We propose a design for graphene-based metamaterial tunable phase modulator, and investigate its feasibility in steering reflective beams in the mid-infrared regime. Simulations show that up to 45% steering efficiency can be achieved.
