Narrowband transmission filter based on silicon waveguide gratings

Abstract

We demonstrate that employing waveguide gratings in a Michelson interferometer is a much practical approach, as compared to Sagnac counterpart, to realize a narrowband transmission filter due to its shorter and relatively balanced connecting waveguides.
