Polarization Insensitive Racetrack Ring Resonator Based on Subwavelength Grating Slot Waveguides

Abstract

A polarization-insensitive racetrack ring resonator using subwavelength grating slot waveguides has been demonstrated. The device can realize polarization-insensitive in three free spectral ranges around 1539.345 nm. The extinction ratios are higher than 18 dB.
