Single-Frequency Operation of a Near-degenerate Optical Parametric Oscillator Using a Transversally Chirped Volume Bragg Grating

Abstract

We report on a doubly-resonant optical parametric oscillator emitting single-frequency radiation near 2 µm using Vernier spectral filtering and a Bragg reflector. The wavelength is tuned over 22 nm using a chirped Bragg grating period.
