Femtosecond Laser Ablation of Monolayer Graphene with Analysis of the Structural Deformations

Abstract

Experimental femtosecond laser ablation of graphene at a high repetition rate of 80 MHz with moderate pulse energies up 27.5 nJ is analyzed and structural deformations studied by reactive molecular dynamics simulations.
