Attosecond Relative Timing Jitter between Optical Pulses and Rising Edges of Photocurrent Pulses

Abstract

We characterize relative timing jitter between optical pulses and photocurrent pulses with 300-attosecond resolution. We found that excess timing jitter at the rising edge can show ultra-low ~400-attosecond-level jitter for both p-i-n and MUTC photodiodes.
