All-Fiber Tunable Ultra-Broadband Mode Converter Based on Helical Long-Period Grating

Abstract

We propose a tunable ultra-broadband mode converter based on helical long-period gratings inscribed in a two-mode fiber by CÜ2-laser. The 1st order orbital angular momentum mode was generated directly over 10-dB bandwidth of 296.7 nm.
