Reconfigurable topological edge state in valley photonic crystals

Abstract

A reconfigurable topological valley photonic crystal (RTVPC) is proposed. By adjusting the refractive index of liquid crystals via an external voltage applied between two parallel metal plates, and the reconfigurable topological boundary state can be achieved.
