Ultra-low power wavelength conversion via four-wave mixing in a Ge11.5As24Se64.5 chalcogenide microring resonator

Abstract

We demonstrate ultra-low power wavelength conversion via four-wave mixing in a Ge11.5As24Se64.5 microring resonator with 20-µm radius. The results show conversion efficiency of -33.7 dB with only 63.8 µW pump power.
