All-Optical 25-Gbps Silicon Carbide Kerr Switching Intensity Modulator On Silicon Platform

Abstract

All-optical intensity modulator at 25 Gbps in silicon carbide-based Kerr switching with a nonlinear refractive index of 2.88×10-13 cm2/W is demonstrated with an SNR of 5.6 dB and an ER of 11.8 dB.
