Spectrometer-free infrared absorption spectroscopy using an electrically tunable bilayer graphene detector

Abstract

We have fabricated and characterized novel, electrically-tunable bilayer graphene (BLG) detectors and then show the proof-of-principle demonstration of spectrometer-free infrared absorption spectroscopy of acetone and CO2 molecules using the BLG detector.
