High-Density 100 GHz-Class Mach-Zehnder Modulators integrated in a InP Generic Foundry Platform

Abstract

High-density modulators with 17µm width reduce the electrical losses in the cross-section of the modulator to just 5dB/mm at 67GHz and enable a bandwidth enhancement of 67GHz electro-optic bandwidth at -1.4dBo to be demonstrated on a generic foundry platform.
