Spectrally Efficient Nonlinear Subcarriers for Nonlinear Frequency Division Multiplexing

Abstract

We propose the use of spectrally efficient H ermite-Gaussian c arriers, for NFT-based optical communication systems and demonstrate a record high SE for NFDM schemes in excess of 4.4 bits/s/Hz.
