Optimal Optical Beamsteering with Phase-Amplitude Coupled Elements

Abstract

A new generation of spatial light modulators enables high speed operation. However, amplitude-phase coupling of elements makes optimal beamforming a computationally expensive task. In this work we present an analytical solution to this problem.
