100 Gb/s NRZ OOK signal regeneration on a silicon chip

Abstract

All-optical regeneration of 100 Gb/s NRZ OOK signal with 3.6 dB extinction ratio and 0.5 dB quality factor improvements is experimentally demonstrated using a silicon waveguide with reverse-biased p-i-n junction for the first time. © 2022 The Author(s)
