Coherent Combining for High-Power Kerr Combs

Abstract

We demonstrate coherent combining of two Kerr combs operating in the normal group-velocity dispersion regime via on-chip synchronization. We achieve a nearly 2’ increase in the combined comb power while maintaining 26% conversion efficiency.
