Beam Forming in Integrated Optical Phased Array Enabled with Deep Neural Network

Abstract

The application of DNN to adaptively control phase in integrated optical-phased-array to form desired beams is proposed. Beam scanning with 0.1° step and accuracy of 0.02°, and beam forming with two independent peaks are demonstrated.
