Achieving thin-film optical metasurfaces for high-resolution augmented/mixed-reality smart glasses

Abstract

We report state-of-the-art metasurface optical elements enabling our high-resolution full-color prototype, via the combination of analytical modeling, numerical simulations, and experiments. Our prototype device has achieved field-of-view >40o, high output efficiency (>1%), and 2K resolution.
