Robust Multimode Waveguide Design for Avoided Mode Crossing-Free Microresonators

Abstract

We present a robust multimode waveguide design against intermodal coupling and experimentally demonstrate an anomalous-dispersion, avoided mode crossing-free microresonator, which is highly desired for bright soliton comb generation.
