Single-Mode Laser Diode Pumped Single-Cavity Yb:KYW Dual-Comb Laser in a MOPA Architecture

Abstract

We present a single-mode-diode pumped polarization-multiplexed Yb:KYW dual-comb laser combined with an Ytterbium-doped fiber-amplifier resulting in 1.1 W output power per comb. We characterize the influence of the amplifier on amplitude and timing noise properties.
