Ultralow-loss etchless lithium niobate integrated photonics at near-visible wavelengths

Abstract

We developed an ultralow-loss etchless lithium niobate integrated photonic platform at near-visible wavelengths (765–781 nm) and experimentally achieved a maximal intrinsic Q factor of 1.1 × 106 in disk microcavities at ~765 nm.
