Inverse Designed Integrated Optical Filters for Optical Transmission Shaping

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate inverse-designed low-pass, long-pass, and band-stop filters. They show flexible optical transmission shaping with high extinction ratio and low insertion loss, and are commercial foundry-compatible.
