Self-aligning Mach-Zehnder Interferometer based filter for intra-cavity tuning of InP integrated lasers

Abstract

We demonstrate an automated routine steering an InP tunable filter over its free spectral range of 10nm. The routine is tested on a 8-arm Mach-Zehnder Interferometer, but can be conveniently extended to different tunable devices.
