Mie-Resonant Anti-Reflection Microstructures for Long-Wave Infrared Transmission Optics

Abstract

We demonstrate that Mie resonant nanophotonic anti-reflection structures enable Silicon to function as an effective transmission optic over long-wave infrared wavelengths. This approach enables a window with 40% greater transmission than bare Si.
