Abstract

We demonstrate record low crosstalk < −40 dB/km for ~35 modes over a km-length fiber with bandwidth exceeding 130 nm covering the S+C+L telecom bands, owing to fundamental mode-mixing resistance offered by the phenomenon of topological confinement.
