Frequency-angular resolving LiDAR using chip-scale acousto-optic beam steering

Abstract

We report a new beam steering technique and the LiDAR system it enables, based on acousto-optic beam steering (AOBS) integrated on a chip to scatter light from a planar waveguide into free space.
