Structured light analogy of quantum squeezed states

Abstract

We demonstrate novel structured light as an analogy of quantum squeezed states, transferring quantum squeezing concepts to characterize optical spatial modes, providing flexible control of deep-subwavelength features breaking the spatial diffraction limit over ~λ/1000.
