Abstract

Since last year, we have been conducting a basic experiment for the development of an infrared baseline interferometer system which can realize coherent imaging of distant objects with extremely high resolution. Through the experiment using a CO2 laser as a trial radiation source, we have confirmed that the system fulfils its fundamental function for such a temporal radiation source with relatively strong power.
