Abstract
During the last decade CNRS, supported by CNES and ESA, conducted theoretical and experimental studies to advance airborne and space-based wind like a lidar application. Among others, the effort addresses modeling and numerical simulations to assess the performance, advanced signal processing, lidar data and meteorological model interaction, and critical components like single-mode TE-CO2 lidar.
