Broadband three-dimensional imaging using a double-helix point spread function

Abstract

A double-helix point spread function is implemented for optically sensing a three-dimensional scene using an image capture device and matched post-processing. Operation characteristics of the system are presented showing precision ranging under broadband illumination.
