A Correlation Based Method for Iris Alignment and Segmentation

Abstract

Efficient segmentation of the iris from rest of the eye is vital for iris recognition. A method involving correlation filtering for iris alignment and segmentation is proposed and a few results of efficient segmentation are shown using a standard iris database.
