Real-time 3-D coordinates measurement based on fringe projection profilometry considering camera lens distortion

Abstract

Camera lens distortion is one key factor that significantly affects the accuracy of both in-plane and out-of-plane coordinates measurement. Here, we present a novel distortion correction technique and implement it in a real-time three-dimensional shape measurement system.
