Abstract

A novel reflection-type homodyne chiral polarimetry is proposed to measure a refractive index variation of transparent plate. The experimental results show that it is simple and useful to provide accuracy measurements of refractive index variations. The measurement phase resolution can reach to about ~7×10−5.
