Block-Based Restoration Method for Wide-field Microscopy of Samples with Variable Refractive Index

Abstract

Evaluation of a block based restoration (BBR) method, developed for imaging of samples with variable refractive index, is investigated using a lung tissue phantom. The BBR method results in a 98% accuracy improvement over depth-variant restoration.
