Improving accuracy of phase retrieval with mixed Poisson-Gaussian noise using the generalized Anscombe transform

Abstract

Measured PSFs have mixed Poisson-Gaussian noise. Comparing phase retrieval accuracy of various error metrics for different ratios of Poisson-to-Gaussian noise shows that the generalized Anscombe transform error metric has the best phase retrieval accuracy.
