Abstract

Sharpness-maximization-based turbulence-mitigation algorithm which estimates multiple phase planes, mitigating deleterious effects of volumettic turbulence in range-compressed holographic images is developed. Aberrated fields are well corrected for turbulence (four aberrating phase screens) with an effective D/r0sw = 33.25.
