Multipath temporal echoes for reconstructing spatial scenes

Abstract

We find evidence that multipath temporal echoes provide significantly more information of a scene than direct reflections, enabling the reconstruction of 3D scenes with a single-pixel detector. This is demonstrated in radio-frequency and acoustic experiments.
