Phase retrieval for generating arbitrary intensity distributions using an optofluidic projector

Abstract

A phase retrieval algorithm for optofluidic projectors based on neural networks and trust-region optimization is demonstrated. The algorithm determines the necessary phase shift resulting from the deformed fluidic surface for a given desired intensity pattern.
