All-Optical Correlator for High-Speed OOK and DPSK Signals

Abstract

We describe a novel high-speed temporal correlator based on linear optical components. We demonstrate operation with 100-Gb/s OOK packets, and our modeling indicates that this system can also function with DPSK signals.
