Prospects of Creating Qubit with Ultracold RbCs Molecules in Lowest Quantum States

Abstract

We report observation of ultracold ground-state RbCs molecules in a dual MOT and present a photoassociation and optical pumping scheme for efficient generation of ultracold ground-state RbCs in lowest rovibrational states for creation of qubits.
