Localized Laser Structures in Coupled Semiconductor Micro-resonators

Abstract

We show existence of Localized Laser Structures (LLS) in two coupled semiconductor microresonators. LLS generate from spontaneous emission noise as independent lasers without any driving field. The phase invariance leads to exotic LLS, as localized vortices.
